We are excited to welcome Jonny Gerrard to Forsberg, joining our sales team as a Marine Business Development Manager.<\/p>\n
Jonny lives in Aberdeen, although his career path has ensured he is well-travelled, taking him around the UK and to different parts of the world.<\/p>\n
Jonny started his career in the Royal Navy serving as a Submariner for 10 years\u2019. Moving on from the Navy and into the offshore sector, Jonny gained valuable experience working as a hydrographic survey engineer which he describes as a steep learning curve but a welcome challenge, working in Angola and parts of the UK.<\/p>\n
A year spent as an application engineer for Measurement Devices, Jonny then joined Veripos in 2011, as a senior project manager within the Dynamic Positioning Marine sales and project team, supplying to leading dynamic positioning manufacturers, vessel owners and operators. Jonny worked for Veripos for over 9 years and now we’re delighted to have him onboard with us here at Forsberg.<\/p>\n
Jonny will continue to be based in Aberdeen, where he lives with his wife and 13 month old daughter, visiting the Heysham office on a regular basis. In his spare time, Jonny likes to strike the right balance between family time and motor racing.<\/p>\n
