We are excited to welcome Jonny Gerrard to Forsberg, joining our sales team as a Marine Business Development Manager.
Jonny lives in Aberdeen, although his career path has ensured he is well-travelled, taking him around the UK and to different parts of the world.
Jonny started his career in the Royal Navy serving as a Submariner for 10 years’. Moving on from the Navy and into the offshore sector, Jonny gained valuable experience working as a hydrographic survey engineer which he describes as a steep learning curve but a welcome challenge, working in Angola and parts of the UK.
A year spent as an application engineer for Measurement Devices, Jonny then joined Veripos in 2011, as a senior project manager within the Dynamic Positioning Marine sales and project team, supplying to leading dynamic positioning manufacturers, vessel owners and operators. Jonny worked for Veripos for over 9 years and now we’re delighted to have him onboard with us here at Forsberg.
Jonny will continue to be based in Aberdeen, where he lives with his wife and 13 month old daughter, visiting the Heysham office on a regular basis. In his spare time, Jonny likes to strike the right balance between family time and motor racing.
